It’s finally Fall here. Great. Just in time for Winter.
Now that Ra’s taken a leave of absence, seems like everyone’s heading for the hills.
Scotty iLL’s gonna be in New York this weekend. Controversy Chris dates hot British chicks, but is stuck in L.A. While Tyler is heading back to the North Pole to help Santa build toy-trains and teddybears. Save a seat for me on the Polar Express!

You may have heard about these folk. If not, then you’ve been stuck in a well for the past 13 years and can’t feel your legs or extremities anymore so you can’t wear their clothes anyways. Fruition was here today, but drove back to Las Vegas tonight.

Paula’s off to Miami, and put together quite the care-package for herself.

Louie wishes he could take off, but Digit’s got him in a PETA-prohibited headlock / bloodsucking combo. Oh the humanity.

Mr. Joe Hahn has finished re-vamping his store, SURU, located on Melrose.

From the way he puts it, SURU basically stocks whatever he likes. Y-3, PRPS, rare vinyl figures,.. “I Love Lucy” memorabilia, Multi-grain snack bars, sea-monkey kits.. Just kidding, he hates Lucy.

Immediately next door is “Spaghetti-for-brains” Deluca, aka Dom the F-Bomb, aka Dominick and his shop, Brooklyn Projects.
This Sunday at noon, Dom will be releasing the long-awaited Methamphibian x Brooklyn Projects x DC shoe. If the line down the block for his sale last weekend is any indication, your best bet would be to get there early. And by “early,” I mean at 2 am with a sleeping-bag and a stash of multi-grain snack bars.
BP and Obey are also throwin’ a gig..
On a tangent, check Dom’s blog for more insight as to what this shirt is all about…
Look familiar? Repent, Nigo!

Back on our block. Flight Club crew stuntin’..
Marlon (Sneaktip), Jenn, and Russ (SSUR) are in town for a couple days. Always on that natural high, right fellas?

Ibn videos from our home-away-from-home, Hong Kong, while on tour with Kanye. The show is goin’ on right about now in conjunction with CLOT, so if you’re in HK and reading this, that means that you didn’t have tickets because you smell and no one likes you.
And whats up with that o.g. Vision Streetwear sneaker Ibn found in Melbourne?

Last night, Scotty iiiiLLLL made his debut as a superstar DJ at BLACK MONDAY. Here, you can see him completely flubbing a Black Flag song over a Dipset track. Rollins is probably rolling in his grave. Oh wait, he’s still alive?

Hey, even Chaz showed up. Otherwise known as The London Police. Otherwise known for unflattering facial expressions!

Garry Bone (Board Kennel / Livestock) and the rest of his Vancouver-based crew are known for paving the way in Vancouver, not only for streetwear and sneakers, but skateboarding and street culture as a whole. Their newest venture, i.e. (illustrated example) is no exception. Consider it a more upscale, higher-end boutique, but with that same Livestock flavor.

i.e. is carrying Stussy, Uppercut, Y-3, One True Saxon, Corpus, PRPS, Nooka, and PAM. Located at: 227 Carral St. in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Phone: (604) 685-1435.
Learn more about Garry by reading the Archives in The Chronicles.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Americans and anyone else who wants to celebrate our nation’s history of imperialism, genocide, and invasive steps towards world domination.
JUST KIDDING.
Now go rape-and-pillage your turkey, pilgrim!

Sometimes, I think it’s easy to forget how few of us are actually involved in this little “world.” Between the consumers, the shop-owners, the brand-runners, and designers, it’s still all so tightly-knit and inclusive. Regardless of what’s bubbling up in the mainstream or where corporate trends are moving, let’s be honest. 99.9999% of the people in your town can’t fathom why your sneakers look like colorful furry bears. We’re all wrapped up in this incestuous full-zip bubble together, so might as well work, and build, together.
Especially when you work on Fairfax. I walked right down the street to visit Naama at RESERVE…

..flipped through the most comprehensive collection of art/design/photo books, and took a gander at some of Freshjive’s newest tees.

Had lunch with Andres from Five Four. Even though we flip to different markets, we used to share trade-show booths next to these guys. Used to eat the same broke food, struggle with the same car payments, date the same busted uglies. Then they decided to blow up and make a bazillion and forty-three dollars, push Xzibit-approved whips, and rifle through Brazilian models like Pantone chips. While we took the coolguy route and decided to sell to absolutely no one, share a tandem bicycle to work, and date each other’s chubby sisters.
Thanks for the free meal Andres. It’s such a nice change to be eating solid food that doesn’t come out from a Boyardee can or cereal-box.

Impromptu roundtable pow-wow with the chiefs of the design game. Consultant Matt Kornberg, Dennis (Crooks & Castles), and KB discuss what’s next for 2007. Apparently, chubby sisters are NOT in. Sucks for us!

Ok everyone, watch your feet.
Joey Castillo (formerly Danzig, now Queens of the Stone Age), Sean B, actor Michael Rappaport, Dom (BP), and Toby (H20)(leading the charge in front) swing through to grab some gear.

Yung Berg (and his crew) en route to their show last night with The Game.

Just a reminder that our Public Label is now available for sale online in The SHOP (along with our Fall Collection). I forgot to mention earlier that these items are crazy limited. Most pieces were produced in quantities hovering around 60-75, and as you can see, many items have already sold out.
Also FYI, since kids keep asking, the red and white lumberjacket hoodies will NOT be sold online anytime soon. Just the blue ones. We’ve got something up our sleeves with red and white pieces, so stick around for more info..forthcoming…
