CLEAR AGENDA

CLEAR AGENDA

Another Agenda Long Beach has come and gone, and with it, the ceremonious influx of gratuitous blogger recaps (thanks to Rob and Van, among others, for that). The general consensus is that in its 10th year, Agenda is the trade show to make all trade shows look like wimpy little hobbyists, at least in the Streetwear and Action Sports genres. For this incomparable platform to scout and showcase brands, both seasoned sneaker vets and emerging brands have founder Aaron Levant to thank.

This past Thursday and Friday, the Long Beach Convention center was temporary home to Streetwear and Skate heavyweights, newcomers, buyers, distributors, and young admirers stocking up on free swag (at one point I saw a kid who appeared to be no older than age eleven wearing no less than four snapbacks stacked on his head), united by a mutual interest in what the industry is doing next, and what peers and pioneers have to offer.
